MS Medicaid to provide SGD for adults

Mississippi Medicaid is going to start paying for speech generating devices (SGD) for adults, effective September 1, 2008. This is a major achievement for the adults in Mississippi who need AAC devices.  We are still awaiting the letter of agreement which should be available within the next two weeks. I will post further details as I receive them. Again, congratulations to the adults in Mississippi who have struggled without appropriate communication options, some for many years!
