Virginia Berry to Receive FASHA at 2010 Convention

Virginia Berry, Assistant Professor of Audiology at the University of Southern Mississippi, will receive one of ASHA’s awards of excellence for outstanding contributions to the fields of audiology and speech-language pathology.  In addition to a lifetime of service as a pediatric audiologist, Virginia has served as an officer and on diverse committees for each state organization in which she resided, and varied committees for ASHA.  Virginia is currently Vice President Continuing Education for MSHA, and serves as the audiology representative of the Advisory Council for the Professional Licensure Division of MS Department of Health.  Exemplifying the best in our field, Virginia will receive Fellowship of the Association (FASHA) during the Awards Ceremony of the 2010 ASHA Convention in Philadelphia
