MSHA has been working with the MS Coalition for Citizens with Disabilities, National Public Health Law and the MS Center for Justice to create a process to intercept denials and reductions in Medicaid services to children. The goal is to identify any trends in violations of due process, violations of EPSDT and failures to provide services for children in need as directed by federal statute. MSHA encourages you to join us in being proactive rather than reactive by contacting Christine Gibson, MSHA VP Healthcare, to report denials or reductions in service. Referral information for parents is available upon request.
