MSHA Call for 2011 Nominations

The Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for:
Vice-President: Continuing Education
Vice-President: Finance
The term each office: January 1, 2012 -l December 31, 2014.
Nominations close at the end of the Business Meeting on March 31, 2011, at the Annual Continuing Education Conference.
Nominations may be made by a current MSHA member.
Nominee must be a current MSHA member.
The general responsibility is to attend four board meetings a year either conference calls or in person, maintain full membership in the organization, monitor the Association’s financial performance, monitor the long and short range association goals and represent the association in the public and private sector.
*Preside at board and business meetings of the Association or Executive Board in the absence of the President
*Become President in the event of the President’s resignation or inability to serve
*Serve as a member of Association committees as requested by the President
*The President Elect will serve one year, one year as President and one year as Past President
Vice President: Continuing Education
*Maintain the Association Continuing Education records
*Complete and file paperwork with ASHA to request and receive CEU’s for MSHA sponsored workshops or annual conference
*Become President if the President Elect cannot serve
Vice President: Finance
*Responsible, with the assistance of the Executive Director, for the collection and maintenance of Association funds
*Responsible for drawing funds and making disbursements with Board approval
*Submit a proposed budget at the final Executive Board meeting of the current year for the following fiscal year
