The DuBard Association Method® Basic Course

June 4-8, 2012

September 25-27 and October 16-18, 2012 (two-part course)

This introductory course in the DuBard Association Method® is designed for general and special educators teaching grades K-2 as well as speech-language pathologists, reading specialists, and academic language therapists.  The course covers the principles of the method as appropriate for students with oral and written communication disorders, including dyslexia and specific language disabilities; the Northampton symbol system; and oral and written language development.

Cost is $875, with lunch included each day.  A textbook is required (Oral and Written Communication Disorders:  Identification and Multisensory Teaching by Maureen K. Martin).

Southern Miss educator and ASHA CEUs are available (4.0 CEUs).
